Chor Chaba Rooms , Hill Station Hostel and Happy Days Guesthouse are our Adults Only accommodations on Koh Kood. If you are looking for a family stay we cater for families at Chom Suan and Pu Ya Deep Forest Home.
We encourage a chilled and free adult environment at Chor Chaba, Hill Station and Happy Days so please enjoy yourself in any way, as long as you do not disturb or offend other guests.
Chor Chaba has 3 guest rooms with a shared balcony, private ensuite, aircon and smart tv. The balcony looks out on a beautiful garden. It is built with concrete so is more private than the guesthouse.
Hill Station consists of a 6 bed shared, mixed dormitory with fans above each bed and mens and ladies bathrooms.There is a communal fridge in the room for guests. There are also 2 private aircon rooms, each with 2 single beds, a fridge and private ensuite bathroom.
Happy Days is a two story wooden, traditional Thai guesthouse with large shared balconies on each floor. We have conducted extensive soundproofing but it is a shared environment with close proximity to your neighbor. It can be a great place to meet your fellow travellers and we know of several long term friendships made there. If you want solitude choose Chor Chaba, Pu Ya or Chom Suan. The top floor has 5 aircon rooms , with an amazing balcony with hammocks. Downstairs has 5 ensuite fan rooms with tables and chairs for each room. There is a communal fridge.
Pu Ya Deep Forest Home is a great place for families. It is a hideaway at the end of the road with only jungle and the sea between you and Cambodia. It is a bit of a journey to the beach but we have an arrangement with Jungle Resort ( 300 meters away). If guests make a purchase at the restaurant they can use the resort's swimming pool and facilities. Pu Ya consists of a family suite with one main room with one double and one single bed, and another room with a single bed. The other room is a double room. Both rooms have aircon and private ensuite bathroom and there is a shared kitchen. The main suite has a balcony looking out at the mountains while the second room has an outdoor seating area in the kitchen.
Chom Suan Farmstay is a selection of family bungalows in the coconut plantation behind Happy Days. It may seem slightly remote, up a slightly bumpy, unmade road but is still only 300 meters walk from the beach and restaurants. There is a choice of double or triple room bungalows with aircon and ensuite. It is situated in a beautiful garden with several lakes and ponds. The view to the mountains in the morning is amazing.
All guests get access to the facilities at Chor Chaba Restaurant including hot shower for Pu Ya guests on request.
