Ao Salad Pier. Salat means pirate and this bay was where pirates would shelter from bad weather. Now a seafood centre and the main arrival terminal for Koh Kood. Trat , Koh Man and Koh Chang boats leave and arrive daily

The Eastern Side of the island is virtually empty and kept by the Thai Navy as a buffer to Cambodia. Private boat trips are available

Ao Yai was until quite recently unaccessible by land and was virtually lawless. The village was popular with pirates and smugglers. Now it is a great place to eat freshly caught seafood and a lovely ride through the jungle to get there

Ao Phrao has a lovely Long Beach with several resorts. It is also the site of our local temple Wat Ao Phrao

Ao Jahk, known locally as Neverland due to the well known resort, is a beautiful sheltered bay with snorkelling along the edges. Rim Alay Cafe is also a great place. If you cross the shallow canal here you can get to the old road which goes along the headland

Bang Bao is the classic postcard scene. A beautiful half moon shaped bay. It is only 40 minutes walk from. Chor Chaba and if you ask us we can tell you the secret swimming spot there

Nahmko/Huggy Beach. officially Ngamkho Beach is fast becoming known as Huggy Beach due to the sunset bar there. The Southern end is accessed through Nahmko Resort but can be rocky. The Huggy Beach Bar side is accessed across from Chor Chaba /Happy Days and is a beautiful short sandy beach. Snorkelling is great.

Klong Chao Beach is the most famous beach in Koh Kood. Thai tourists travel from Bangkok just to take selfies then go home. Has the expensive resorts named after the Peter Pan Books that give Koh Kood its high price tag reputation. It is less than 10 minutes walk from Chor Chaba

Ao Tapao is the site of the deep water port. Is a beautiful Long Beach with white saids

Klong mad is a cute little canal side village. It bis where the Koh Kood Express Speedboat arrives and leaves

Koh Raet is the island off the shore. On shore side is Secret Beach which used to be a peaceful hideaway beach till they built resorts there. You can organize for a boat to pick you nup and take you to the restaurant ion the island. it is also the site of the underwater sculpture park

Klong Chao Waterfall

Koh Koods best known waterfall. Usually runs all season but can become quite small. Is still a nice place to visit all year round

Used to be Secret Waterfall as there was no road there but they have built one so not so secret anymore. Does not run all year but is the site of the Macaw region aeration project so worth a visit

Huang Nahm Waterfall

Klong Yai Kee Waterfall

Often dries up in high season but still a nice place to visit. Close to Koh Foods well known Mr Coconut Shop

Giant Trees

Claimed to be 500 years old or more. Very spiritual and moving place to visit.
